Film feels very natural when shooting cars, for the mindfulness required, and its “vintage” side. My favourite cars being from the 60s 70s, they bear that form of “imperfection” and simplicity. Working with digital photography allows a wider range of situations for shooting, yet I try to keep my pictures with a strong color harmony, sometimes far from the original tones, but always with a purpose.
Cars are very special objects of design, extensions of their drivers, and machines of performance. They catalyse dreams, memories, and gather people around one same passion.
My goal is to shoot cars as works of art, and also picture the people making these cars alive and perpetuating the spirit of automobile culture.
